You saw it coming: no more air guitar, here comes Air Sex!

Air guitar is completely out nowadays. It was one of the coolest fads I lived to know but it unfortunately disappeared way too quickly for me to become a famous air star. What was to come next? Enter Air Sex. Instead of rocking hard with your guitar, you have to fake the sex of your life with an imaginary partner.

Unimpressively, the idea comes from Japan, again. It’s like these guys had a whole team of scientists devoted to making shit weirder than anyone else. We love you, Japan.

Use your computer as a guitar tuner

Since I traded my HTC Touch for a Diamond, my favorite Windows Mobile guitar tuner, PhonTuner, didn’t work properly as it only supported QVGA screens. Looking for a cheap or free solution that would replace PhonTuner’s surprising accuracy and ease of use, I stumbled upon AP Tuner.

If you are looking for a great guitar tuner for Windows, look no further! The program is shareware, but can be used for free. It’s super accurate on my laptop and produces just what you would expect from it without extra bells and whistles.

Overall, it’s a great application for those looking for an alternative to those cheap guitar tuners. You can find a download link and more information HERE.

Just talking about music…

I finally managed to squeeze a few coordinated notes from my guitar. Of course it had to be something completely unheard of and not some classic like Hotel California. I just browsed through my music and picked up something I could play easily. I chose “Leave no man behind”, from the Black Hawk Down soundtrack. Since I don’t know how to read music or even how to locate the notes on my guitar, I just repeated the notes. I’ll upload a video as soon as I can go through it without messing up. Meanwhile, here’s the original song in its original context.

Next tune: Cassidy Buxom (mp3)
